It's already a given that Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa is very...yes, well put together. But did we know she was borderline crazy? Bryant's former housekeeper is suing the Bryants, citing she was "harassed and humiliated," denied health insurance and forced to quit because of "intolerable" working conditions.
Maria Jimenez is suing more than $127,000 in unpaid medical benefits, more than $20,000 in unpaid wages and an unspecified amount in general and punitive damages. The suit claims Jimenez was subjected to wrongful firing, emotional distress, unpaid wages and invasion of privacy. Also, the suit notes that Vanessa was incredibly abusive, even demanding that she put her hand in a bag of dog remains to retrieve a tag from her blouse -- among other things.
Maria Jimenez claims Vanessa called her "lazy, slow, dumb, a f---ing liar, and f---ing sh-t."
She had threatened to quit after being repeatedly embarassed in front of Vanessa's children as well as Kobe, but Kobe at one point had repeatedly asked her to stay after making his wife apologize. Anybody remember Doug and Jackie Christie?

But was employer-paid medical coverage part of the original employment contract between The Byrants and Ms. Jimenez or was this a false presumption on her part? Did Jimenez neglect to seek out her own medical coverage and then have medical procedures done while assuming the Bryants would pay the bills?
These are questions that should have been asked in your article; use those journalism muscles.
If the employer (Bryants) were suppose to provide with a medical insurance plan that should've been stated on the contract when Ms. Jimenez was first employed. I'm sure Ms. Jimenez knew or should've known whether she had a medical insurance plan or not. If she didn't have the medical insurance stipulated on the contract then she should've acquired her own medical insurance. I think Ms. Jimenez is just a disgruntled employee trying to squeeze some money here ?
