"Mile High Thugs"? To hear Mark Cuban tell it, that's just what the Denver Nuggets are and now Kenyon Martin's mom,Lydia Moore knows that includes her son too. Reportedly after a Carmelo Anthony sinked the game winning 3 pointer putting the Nuggets up 106-105 after an overlooked foul by Antoine Wright with 1 second left in regulation, Cuban stormed off the court and upon seeing Lydia Moore implied her son was a "thug." Cuban admits he told Ms.Moore "That includes her son" after hearing fans yell out that the Nuggets were "thugs."
While the Mavs spoiled billionaire owner denies it, Martin's agent claims Cuban hit K-Mart's mom with a "Your son is a punk!" slap to the face gram just a day before Mother's Day.
Known for his tatts, aggressive style of play, legal woes and Baddest B**ch gal pals, K-Mart didn't take too kindly for Cuban's one on one face time with his moms. According to Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post, K-Mart let Cuban know his nickname may imply he's cheap but repercussions for messing with his family can be costly.
"I don't feel I need to call his name in the media and all that, but it's a little personal," Martin said after the Nuggets shootaround today. "And I'm going to take care of it." [...]
"[You] don't say nothing to my kids or my family," Martin said. "If you got something to say, say it to me. But I'm going to take care of it. I'm not going to do the whole media thing, back and forth. That's his thing. I'm more of a face-to-face type of dude."
They both have the habit of writing checks their mouths too often cash. Even though he has more bite than "Soft as Charmain" Dirk, if I were Cuban I'd be wary. K-Mart already put him (Dirk)on his back in a foul that was later upgraded to flagrant. I say they just settle this with a round "You're momma so fat," "You're momma so ugly," jokes refereed by Dirty Dozen's headmaster, Stu Jackson and call it a night
Either way, K-Mart promises "It Will Be Taken Care Of." That's one battle of the mouths I'd pay to see
Mark Cuban needs to know his role and shut his mouth
Cuban will never stop being Cuban and Kenyon will never handle the matter because he will find out things are not always what they seem to be.
I was following this all week Qiana. Cuban is out of line, point blank period! There is no excuse for that type of behavior. He is lucky he didn't get beat down. Bottom line he was mad that his team was getting punked all series and was in a 0-3 hole. However, yelling at a player's mom is unacceptable and the NBA did nothing about it. Yet, if it were a player, David Stern might have handled it differently. As an owner of a team he cannot act so immature and unprofessional. What's even worse if that he had the audacity to disrespect her and her son at the end of the game, yet he didn't apologize til 2 days later ON A BLOG!!! WTF??? You should've apologized sooner and to her face. He should've been man enough to apologize like man and give her a sincere apology.
