Right now a lot of athletes' nervous right now. As soon as they saw the title they were like:
"Not this guy Rob he can't be manipulated he might say anything and you know my wife reads BlackSportsOnline."
Relax fellas I am not trying to throw salt in your game. I don't care you getting your NoHo on via Twitter. Names won't be released to protect the "guilty".
I just find it fascinating and in many ways humorous what is going down on Twitter. I wouldn't have even been thinking about it until two weeks ago I got a text stating simply:
"You will never guess who I just had sex with ******** and it was terrible, you should expose his ass, but the hotel he put me in was nice."
We aren't an exposing site this isn't MediaTakeOut, but I was curious how it all went down and she proceeded to tell me that she started to follow ******* on Twitter and after a few Tweets ******* started to follow her.
Next thing you know after several DMs (Direct Messages i.e. messages that can't be seen) flight was book, hotel was paid and Bed Gammon activities ensued.
I thought it was probably just an isolated incident, but I asked an athlete friend of mine who is on Twitter is this something that happens often and here is what he had to say:
"It happens a lot because unlike MySpace or facebook everything is happening in real time. Like on my MySpace when I check it I have two hundreds messages I am not going through all that, but on Twitter after three or four message these hoes sending you naked pictures saying how much they always wanted to f*ck you.
I haven't flown anybody out and don't plan to, but it is easy pickings if they want to go that route."
I spoke with a few of my female friends in the industry and they confirmed that it was going on and it was going on often. Pimpin in 140 characters or less is alive and well.
Twitter Pimpin who would have known, but then I thought about why go to the club and possibly shoot yourself in the leg like Plaxico when you can pick women out like a Chinese buffet from your home computer?
Of course there are always risks involved and I would think the biggest risk is you end up with a:
KOBE BRYANT COLORADO CHICK
The last thing you want to do is fly some groupie out who has been stalking you on BallerAlert since you were in high school. You wine and dine her, knock it out and then tell her to Beat It like MJ. That just sounds like a recipe for disaster, so I would caution to be very careful who you are flying around the country to be your jump off.
On the flip side of that I can see how "fly ins" could be beneficial to an athlete or celebrity. Mainly once you are done with them they go away and normally don't have a way to get back, so out of sight out of mind. As oppose to some female in the same area who shows up outside of your door and at every practice wearing your jersey professing her love.
Nevertheless keep that "Pimp Focus" strong and make sure you sign up for Frequent Flyers reward points because thanks to Twitter NoHos you will get a free flight to Hawaii for your real wife. Imagine how excited she will be.

I heard Bow Wow talking about this on a blog... these dudes have life too easy. I think another post should be written on twitter robbin' because its bound to happen when you have millions of dollars and your telling the world exactly where you'll be, and when.
