There are a lot of crazy things going around surrounding the death of Steve McNair, but there is one thing we all need to remember.
Two people lost their lives today in what appears to be an avoidable situation.
They ask Biggie once how he felt about Tupac dying and he said something very prophetic:
"I wouldn't wish death on nobody there isn't any coming back from that."
So just remember while you are watching ESPN, CNN and etc that you don't forget regardless of what was going on in McNair's personal life there is no justification for murder. Just please keep that in mind.

Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair was killed in a shooting in Nashville, Tennessee, authorities said Saturday.
Police said they found McNair and a woman shot to death in a Nashville residence after receiving a phone call about an injured person.
The woman has been tentatively identified, but her name is not being released, authorities said.
A law enforcement source close to the investigation said the woman is McNair's girlfriend and that the residence is her condominium.
Witnesses said McNair was a frequent visitor there.

They could not provide details about the circumstances of the shooting.
McNair's brother, Fred, also confirmed the death but had no immediate details.

It is very true that Steve died(so very sad) but it's a double homicide not murder suicide. Sorry but the guy reporting this needs to get his facts straight.

I am deeply saddened by this tragic event. I've never met Steve personally but my husband got the opportunity to meet him and thought that Steve was a good, genuine guy...my heart goes out to his wife and children...Has it been confirmed yet as far as who the lady was that was also found dead? Sure hope it wasn't his wife.
People 95% of the time do not get shot for no reason, okay sometimes there are innocent victims in a robbery, etc ... You know he pissed someone!!!
Anthony, unfortunately I have to agree. I thought he was a stand up player in league and kept his nose clean, but I agree that he must have gotten into something or involved in something he shouldn't have.

He was the man. I am a native of Mississippi and I looked up to as a football player. We are the same age but my season of play was cut short with knee injuries. My condolences is with his family.
I likened his playing ethic to Brett Favre. He always played 100% and he was always trying to find ways to win. I loved the fact that he was from tiny little Alcorn State and he made a name for himself in college and later on in the NFL. RIP

Rob - you got faithful readers for years on this site, tell me that you had good reason to post this heading of murder suicide. It would do much damage to your cred if you used a heading like this and it turns out to be something else like a robbery. OK now that I've seen the Nashville news, it's pretty clear what happened. To everyone and their "inside sources", please have some class. I met Steve back in 07... very nice guy, always had time for people and deserves better than wild speculation. Props to BSO for being on top of this so timely.
