I remember an interview with Allen Iverson shortly after Kobe Bryant was accused of rape. They were asking A.I. if he could believe someone with such a "clean cut" image as Kobe could commit such a crime. His answer was so simple yet so profound that I find myself using the quote often. He simply said:
"Everyone has a little dirt under their fingernails."
The point was clear that no one is perfect. That brings me to Florida Quarterback Tim Tebow.
A reporter asked Tebow if he was a virgin and Tebow responded that he was. I am not here to debate if he is or he isn't, but I want to give a warning to Tebow.
Regardless if he is doing it on purpose or not when you are being built up as a "perfect" there will be people who are going challenge that fact.
Some will be in the media. Don't think right now some low level reporter is not sitting at his/her desk thinking if they can knock the Halo off Tebow's head it will make them into a big star.
Some will be "NoHos". As soon as the word "virgin" came out of his mouth there were women all across the country who will want to see how devout he really is.
Some will be "haters". Jealous of his success and how he is put up on a pedestal don't be shocked if a "so-called" friend snaps some unflattering pictures and sells them to TMZ.com to expose him.
People in general like to build up their athletes and celebs to a mythical level and then get joy in seeing them fall.
I understand Tebow is passionate about his religion and faith, but it would be to his benefit to keep some of this information to himself.
The image he is creating is becoming too great for him to live up to and it will just be a matter of time before someone finds a little dirt under his fingernails.

This is the same as the Michael Phelps situation. they built him up to be this perfect kid who did nothing but swim. One picture with a bong smoking weed and people went into mass hysteria and shock like he did something so horrible and he lost a lot of sponsor. I hope that doesn't happen to Tebow but it probably will.
I really hope that Tebow is not felled by those who enjoy watching a public figure rise to unbelievable heights and then watch them fall to terrible depths. It is a shame that someone's virginity is a major topic of discussion. If I was Tim, I would have tried really hard not to answer that question. So much of the press wants to see someone who is held to a higher standard than most fall on their sword of virtue. I enjoy watching Tim play. I hope he gets a shot to play in the NFL. He comes off as being very mature and concerned about the world as a whole. Tim, keep up the good work.
I hope gets married quick. I don't want him to miss a game with blue balls! Now that I got that out of my system. I think he will make the right decision and not get exposed. At least I hope so. Children need a good role model. In a world riddled with HIV, and a list of STD's, kids need to know that you can be cool and abstinent. Kids need to see self respect and respect of others. I hope he can provide that to a generation that thinks words like abstinence, faith, respect, and optimism are out of date.
not really a story... but I guess you are reaching for credibility since you got clowned a couple days ago.
No more credibility. BSO sucks.
So Tebow is a dumbass .. for not beating the shit out of this pussy ..
