Back to Lebron for a little bit, I hope he has learned a lesson. As I pointed after the Cavs lost to the Magic in the Eastern Conference finals, his honeymoon stage is over. He is on a higher level than most athletes and now everything he does will be under a microscope.
He has to show he can handle those criticisms, which will be hard for him because he has rarely been criticized.
In the whole scheme of things, this was a very small and dumb thing to be considered news, but his actions made it into the monster story.
He pulled a diva move and when you do that you have to expect diva like attention. This is the reason why this will be on TMZ.com and not ESPN.com.
Then again you can get hit with sexual assualt civil suits and ESPN wouldn't report it or does that only apply to star quarterbacks the network likes?
