Baron Davis: Why athletes should never store anything on an electronic device

For those that don’t know, according to the Smoking Gun, Baron Davis has issued a letter through his legal team warning media outlets he will take legal action if any photos, videos, audio etc stored in his computer are published.

While its wrong for someone to violate Baron like this he also should know he’s an athlete and this is the age of Twitter and Facebook there is no such thing as privacy anymore especially if you are an NBA star. If you are going to store something, get a backup drive or something like it and hide it somewhere.

Or better yet just delete whatever you store to begin with so there’s no record of it at all. Of course all this secrecy makes us want to know what exactly is in that computer. Naked women? A sex tape? Porn?

Granted I don’t think anyone will be that outraged if its that sounds like the norm to a pro athlete to me. However despite the jokes he does have a right to privacy however being a celebrity that right will not always be repected. Which is why you must take precautions at all times. I hope Baron gets his computer back and everything where it was and I hope he also learned to be careful the next time.baron_davis1
