This game was blacked out in Detroit for very good reason both the Lions and Browns are awful.
When two 1-8 teams meet unless you are a family member of someone playing or a die hard fan there was no reason to watch.
Expectations were low, like expecting Sarah Palin not using her sexuality to get you to pay her attention to her (no other reason to listen to her is it?).
The game shockingly started off well. A few long bombs by the Browns and it looked like they would cruise to a victory, so the five people who were watching went on to bigger and better things.
There were other good games going on, but I kept my eye on the Lions and Browns especially when Lions came back from a 21 point deficit.
The ending of the game is spectacular. Down 37-31 the Lions throw a hail mary pass and the refs called pass interference. That never happens.
On the play Matt Stafford gets drilled. His shoulder looks seriously hurt and Daunte Culpepper comes in but Browns coach Eric Mangini calls a timeout.
Stafford dragging his arm like a 50 pound weight is on it comes back in the game and amazingly throws the winning TD.
JaMarcus Russell should watch Stafford, cause that showed a lot of heart coming back in the game.
Words can’t even describe it, just watch the video.
I used the video from the radio announcers so you can get a feel of how exciting it was.
