Former Hukser Ndamukong Suh To Donate $2.6 To Nebraska

When I went to my school’s spring football game yesterday along with 70,000 other people (yeah, thats how we do here) I didn’t expect any real news to come out of  what’s really a glorified scrimmage.  That was until after the first series when potential top-3 pick in next week’s NFL draft, Ndamukong Suh came onto the big screen and in a recorded video message, announced that he would be donating 2 million dollars to the strength and conditioning center.  He also announced that he would donate 600,000 dollars to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering, where he earned his degree in construction management.

Suh, the most decorated defensive player in Husker history, will now be as remembered here for his on the field talent as his generosity.  Before he has officially been drafted, he has already given the largest donation by a former football player in school history.  Well done, Mr. Suh.  I’m proud you are a fellow Cornhusker.
