John Wall trotted out in these puppies during his pre-draft workout with the Washington Wizards, the team slated to take him number one overall in the upcoming NBA Draft. Wall recently inked a 25 million dollar deal with the company, and SLAMonline is reporting these are the kicks he’ll play in next season:
“John Wall wore these shoes at his workout today, and later confirmed that they will be the shoes he will wear in his first NBA season. It remains unclear whether this is one of his two signature lines (they look more like the Reebok basketball Zigs in white and blue), but Wall did say that those were the shoes he would wear next season. Maybe he just meant the brand.”
I hope they’re his signature sneak, if for no other reason than he’d be even more outta pocket for wearing a design that ugly and it’s not his own. Either way, not a good look, but here’s to hoping he can recreate some of the same magic that Iverson once had with the shoemaker; a long shot, but a lil Wizardry on the court may help.
