Believe it or not, I want to Tim Tebow to be successful. I have met Tebow and I like him, seems like a very nice guy. I think the pressure on him to be perfect will eventually break him, but I never pray for someone’s downfall.
I would not get any joy out of Tebow’s failing, it is just my professional opinion that he won’t be a very good NFL quarterback.
It has nothing to do with Tebow the person, and everything to do with Tebow the player. College skills, a lot of times, don’t translate to NFL skills…. especially at the quarterback position.
Much has been made about Tebow changing his delivery, but in the heat of the battle, you are going to fall back to what you know.
Which is what happened tonight in his first preseason game against the Bengals.
The Bengals also welcomed him to the league with an overload blitz which almost separated him from his Holy Spirit.
But like a champ, he took the hit and kept it moving. That is the best quality about Tebow, he isn’t going to fail for lack of trying or heart.
With that being said I have watch the video 10198338 times already.
Welcome to the league rook.
Tebow scored on a TD run as well and honestly this is what he is comfortable doing. Really should move to Fullback or H-Back:
