Awful news to report, but according to Fox 31 in Denver, Broncos Wide Receiver Kenny McKinley has committed suicide. Here are the very sad details:
Denver Broncos wide receiver Kenny McKinley has apparently taken his own life, sources tell FOX31 News.
McKinley, 23, was found dead in Arapahoe County. No further details were immediately available.
McKinley had struggled to stay healthy during his two years with the Broncos. Limited to kick returns, he was placed on injury reserve with a knee injury in 2009. He was also placed on IR in 2010 prior to the start of the regular season.
Right now it is just being reported as a suicide, as we have learned in the past, until all the facts come out and the police speak on the situation don’t jump to any conclusions.
I remember McKinley when he was at South Carolina, he definitely had the potential to be a very good NFL player, physically he was very fast and explosive.
Prayers go out to his family, friends and love ones.
You only have one life, so remember that our time on this earth is very precious and can be taken at any time.
