Rashan S. Michel is an Ex-NBA ref who I guess sells suits on the side in the Atlanta area who is claiming that Nique owes him some money Dez Bryant style and decided to lay out some street justice, by attacking Nique after the Hawks vs. Magic Game.
It didn’t work out too well for Mr. Michel.
A fan allegedly attacked Atlanta Hawks Vice President Dominique Wilkins after Wednesday night’s game vs. the Orlando Magic.
Rashan S. Michel, 36, was arrested and charged with one count of simple battery following the incident, Officer K.Y. Jones with Atlanta police told the AJC.
Michel, who told police he was owed money for suits purchased several years ago, hit Wilkins in the chest and also hit a security guard, Jones said. Michel, of Atlanta, has worked as an NBA and college basketball referee.
“The fan was promptly arrested and was taken into custody by the Atlanta Police Department,” Hawks spokesman Arthur Triche said in a statement to the AJC. “At this time the Hawks have no additional information or comment regarding this situation.”
According to Sekou Smith, Nique got the better of the fight.
I have seen some of the suits The Human Highlight Film has worn over the years, if anything Nique should be asking for a refund from Michel for those awful Harlem Nights threads, but I digress.
*UPDATE*
Here is video showing Dominique punching Michel in the face.
