While I think Dez Bryant has some issues and smaller issues can lead to bigger issues, you don’t want to push him too much. If too many people are in your ear it has more of a negative impact than positive affect.
I think it is good the Cowboys are taking an interest in helping Dez Bryant, but like most interventions it only works if the person really wants to be helped.
Cowboys center Andre Gurode says Bryant’s teammates will do their best to try to help Bryant stay out of the news longer.
“I think we will approach him as a group and we all want the best for Dez and we all will reach out or have reached out to try to get in contact with him and tell him that this is a situation you’re going through and we want you to get through it and get over it and if you need any help to call us and we’ll definitely sit down and talk to you,” Gurode said 105.3 The Fan, via the Dallas Morning News.
I think it is good thing what Gurode is trying to do. You just want to make sure Bryant doesn’t think it is some sort of “Me Against The World” type of situation, because that would cause him to act out even more.
