My issue with these type of stories is if the rape happened in 2009 why didn’t the accuser go to the police then and why is she going on the Today Show now as oppose to reporting it to the police?
That always puts a dent in the credibility of the accuser, doesn’t mean she is lying, just has me leery of her story.
FullCourtPumps.com has the details.
A former Wake Forest student will appear on NBC’s Today Show Thursday to talk about a sexual assault incident she alleges took place on March 19th, 2009, Wake Forest fan site Blogger So Dear reports. The former student reportedly says she was raped by two members of the Demon Deacons basketball team the day before their first-round NCAA tournament game against Cleveland State.
The Today Show has not confirmed that this woman will be appearing on Thursday, but does say they will be speaking on “sexual assaults” at colleges.
I am curious to see if these report are legit if the woman name, names.
Back in 2009, there were several future NBA players on that Wake Forest team, most notably Jeff Teague of the Hawks. I hope if this woman is going to accuse she has some evidence to back it up.
It would be irresponsible to accuse players, with no proof, no police report and nothing besides going on TV to make an accusation.
I will be watching.
