Kenny Britt is making a strong push to become the NFL’s next top troubled wideout. The Tennessee Titans wide receiver retired and unretired a short while ago via facebook. Britt has been in and out of trouble in the past year with repeated run ins with law enforcement officials. Per Britt’s facebook account:
“Retiring From the NFL. #$%! You Goddell
Change of HEart.. My family is always here for me. I made mistakes and i am sorry i am going to change and become a better person and mentor for all my young fans.. I will accept any penalty like a man.. The road beings Sept 11 in Jacksonville.. ill be ready!!!”
In typical athlete or celeb fashion, Britt denied posting either comment and claimed that his account was hacked
“my facebook was hacked with those past 2 status’s.. i am not retiring and do not have any hate toward the commissioner.”
Three questions come to mind from Britt’s latest mishap…
1) Could Britt’s words to Goodell be a sign of a suspension to come for his series of arrests? Fantasy football geeks take heed…
2) Did Britt negotiate an endorsement deal with Mark Zuckerberg ala Shaq with Tout for announcing his retirement via Facebook?
3) How many NFL players “liked” Britt’s comment directed to Commisioner Goodell?
The comments have since been removed from Britt’s account.
