A lot of NFL fans and analysts say Detroit Lions defensive end Ndamukong Suh is a dirty player. But Suh doesn’t believe he is a dirty player because the one person that matters to him the most hasn’t called him a dirty player. That person is his mom.
“I’ll consider myself a dirty player when my mom calls me a dirty player,” he said Monday.
Suh should already consider himself a dirty player. His WWE slam on Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton a few weeks ago was enough to consider him a dirty player. I know Suh wants to put the fear of God in his opponents but there is a difference between aggressiveness and trying to hurt someone.
Suh should also be concern about the example he is setting for rookie defensive tackle Nick Fairley. Fairley already had a reputation at Auburn as a dirty player. He doesn’t need to be on Roger Goodell radar as well.
Suh needs to calm down on that extra, extra aggressiveness and just play football.
