Earlier this month, Washington Redskins Tight End Chris Cooley had a few choice words for Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo. After a couple of second half pick-sixes led to the Cowboys blowing there largest lead in franchise history, Cooley had this to say about the QB:
“It’s amazing, amazing to watch him choke like that.”
and this…
“It was hilarious to watch him throw pick-sixes, too, back to back. I loved it.”
While this report alleges that an apparent affair between Romo and Cooley’s wife is the source of his disdain for the the rival signal caller, karma has seemed to side with Romo on this one. According to this Tuesday report from the Washington Times, Cooley was placed on IR after suffering a broken finger against the Eagles two weeks ago, thus cutting another season short for him due to injury. Seeing as how Cooley repeatedly relished in Romo’s misery, and was completely unapologetic when given chances to clarify his statements, it appears that it is indeed true that “God don’t like ugly!”
