Lebron James Responds To Kendrick Perkins Dissing Him For His Tweets

I am a little disappointed in Lebron.

If someone called me out as strongly as Kendrick Perkins, I would be a little stronger in my efforts to protect my cornbread.  An apology should have never been an option, but Lebron’s reply was sort of weak.

It was the nice politically correct reply, but it sort of backs up Kendrick’s claims that Lebron just wants to be liked by everyone.

The proper reply in my opinion would have been.

“Kendrick Perkins is a role player, who has no clue what it is like to be a superstar in the league. Blake Griffin took his soul and I commented.  Perkins was ran off Twitter by a blogger, so he shouldn’t talk about Twitter, when he couldn’t handle the slander.  He is being sensitive and soft.  He has been riding KG’s and now KD’s coattails for most of his career, so he think he is a star.  He isn’t, he is just the guy who gets dunked on by the star.”

Instead Lebron said this.

LeBron said he won’t apologize to Kendrick Perkins to reaching out to his fans on Twitter. Said he didn’t feel he called Perkins out.

“I’m an easy target; if someone wants to get a point across — just throw LeBron’s name in there,” James said. “You could be watching cartoons with your kids and you don’t like it, you say, ‘Blame it on LeBron.’ If you go to the grocery store and they don’t have the milk that you like, you just say, ‘It’s LeBron’s fault.’ “

Listen, this is a serial killer league and until Lebron really embraces the fact he has to step on some people’s neck, players are still going to think they can take his cornbread.

He needs to be more hungry to protect his food.
