Recently retired Houston Texans and New York Giants running back Derrick Ward took to Twitter last night to express his frustration with drunk driving athletes after the recent series of DUI/DWI arrests that have plagued professional sports.
It is refreshing to see an athlete take an impassioned stand against something, especially when it is so damn logical. Why these athletes don’t just pay for a cab is beyond me. Like Chad Ochocinco said in his “6 Rules to Keep Athletes Out of Trouble” these guys need “No Men” to take the keys and call the cab or act as the designated driver. Maybe Ward’s post football career can involve creating some kind of on call car service for athletes?
Included in the string is a response to a comment made by one of Ward’s followers.
Alright NFL players!!! Its absolutely E-N-O-U-G-H!!! Drinking and Driving? How dumb can u be? Its absolutely stupid and your making the good

Now I am not sure who Cody Castleman is, but judging from some of his twitter followers and some of his tweets, he knows some NBA Players. If you look at some of his Facebook pics, he parties with athletes as well (including Lamar Kardashian). Maybe this is the kind of “Yes men” that Ochocinco was talking about?
And if you need an idea of exactly how bad it has gotten with NFL Arrests since the Super Bowl (beyond drunk driving), check out this graphic sent to us by BSO reader @StephanieJoplin. Pretty jarring when you see that much stupid decision making in one picture. This was sent us yesterday, and was already made obsolete by Kenny Britt’s DWI arrest.
