Robert Griffin III is starting out his career like no one before him has. The NFL announced today the he will receive the award for NFC Offensive Player of the week for his performance against the New Orleans Saints. This makes him the only player since the award was inaugurated in 1984 to win it his first game out. He was outstanding going 19-26 with 320 yards 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. He was also the first rookie in the NFL to throw for atleast 300 yards and 2 touchdowns without an interception. It is safe to say the Redskins have their quarterback of the future.
