Vince Young Admits He Blew $26 Million And He’s Broke

Vince Young is having a rough go of it lately.

He was released by the Buffalo Bills in August after failing to learn the playbook.   During his stint in Bills training camp, he was served with papers after a practice for defaulting on a lockout loan for $1.9 million.  Young’s recourse of action was to say he didn’t remember taking out the loan from Pro Player Funding.

Early today Vince lashed out via twitter after a young lady tweeted out that “Peyton Manning throws 3 interceptions it’s not a big deal, @VinceYoung throws 3 in preseason, job ending. Seems to be sliding scale of acceptance.”

Young retweeted those comments then made some of his own.

Earlier today via his attorney Vince Young announced that he is nearly broke.

“I would just say that Vince needs a job,” said Trey Dolezal, Young’s attorney, when asked to give a general assessment of his client’s finances.”

We have chronicled the fall of Vince Young and his irresponsibility with money for some time hear at BlackSportsOnline.

Young is currently suing his former agent, Major Adams, and his financial planner, Ronnie T. Fields for fraud and several other misappropriations of funds.

The pair are accused of forging his name and impersonating him on the phone.

The Attorney for Adams and Peoples state that those are all lies.

“This is a person scrambling helplessly and pointing in all directions to blame others to get out of debt,” said Charles Peckham, Adams’ attorney.

Young former representatives paint him as reckless and irresponsible beyond belief with funds.

Peoples has filed a countersuit in which he castigates Young for allowing his uncle to serve as his business manager despite having no expertise in that field.

Peoples claims in the countersuit that every decision he made was approved by Keith Young. And he calls Vince Young’s unwillingness to accept responsibility “a common occurrence … as (former Titans coach) Jeff Fisher, (Texas coach) Mack Brown, numerous NFL executives, coaches, teammates, scouts, girlfriends and illegitimate children will attest.”

Peoples’ attorney, David Chaumette, said he has documents to support the strongly-worded filing.

“You’ll find there was a lot of money being spent in a bunch of different directions,” Chaumette said.

Young is married now and needs to figures things out in his life.

I hope he makes it.
