The 49 year old Holyfield was only boxing because he needed the money, but with every punch he was taking, you could feels the years being taken off his life.
A lot of people talk about Mike Tyson losing his fortune, but Holyfield lost almost as much. Tyson seems to be doing ok these days, but Holyfield will have to auction off a lot of his memorabilia to pay off his debts and he is still woefully behind on his child support payments.
He had recently said he was hoping for a fight with one of the Klitschko brothers which only confirmed to me he was losing his mind.
