As we sit and watch the New York Jets struggle on the field, it’s not hard to see why they struggle.
Anytime a business or organization struggles, most of the relevant issues start at the top.
The Jets are the perfect example.
The NY Daily News is reporting that Johnson was on Bloomberg TV this morning when he was asked if he’d prefer a winning season by his Jets franchise or a Romney win in the Presidential Election?
Well I think you always have to put country first,” Johnson said. “So I think it’s very, very important that for — not only us — but in particular for our kids and grandkids that this election come off with Mitt Romney and Ryan as president and vice president.”
Johnson is the Chairman of Romney’s New York campaign, and it seems he has more invested in his political contributions than he does his football contributions.
Johnson was asked near the end of the segment about his teams lackluster performance yesterday.
“The coach and the coaches and I are not happy with what happened yesterday. And the players aren’t either,” said Johnson. “That performance is absolutely unacceptable.”
