Have you ever been flattered by something that someone said about you until you actually put the compliment into the context of the complimenter‘s limited life experience? For example, there’s a big difference between an inexperienced sexual partner telling you how great you are in bed and a more seasoned sexual partner saying the same thing. Consider that reasoning when you read about what Bills’ running back C.J. Spiller had to say about his quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick on Friday’s Dan Patrick Show via sportsradiointerviews.com:
“…He’s probably the best quarterback that I’ve played with. … Because on my runs, if I ever bounce it, I know if my quarterback’s out there he’s going to try to throw me a block. You don’t see many quarterbacks doing that in this league, so that’s why I have his back. Because that guy goes to battle for you.”
Congratulations Ryan Fitzpatrick. Since Spiller has spent all three of his NFL seasons in Buffalo, his compliment means that you are better than ex-Clemson greats Will Proctor, Cullen Harper, Willy Korn, and Kyle Parker because apparently you are a good run blocker. #Ryan Fitzpatrick for MVP
