It took about 10 weeks, but unemployed wide receiver Plaxico Burress may have finally found a home, and just so happens to be his first home.
Adam Schefter is reporting that after having what I’d assume to be a good workout, the Steelers will sign Burress for the remainder of the season.
Schefter: “After watching wide receiver Plaxico Burress workout today, the Pittsburgh Steelers plan to sign him.”
Wide Receivers Antonio Brown, and Jerricho Cotchery both are slowed by ankle injuries suffered Sunday night against Baltimore.
Burress was the 8th overall pick by the Steelers in the 2000 NFL draft.
