Obviously Jim Mora was not aware that it ain’t easy out here in these Twitter streets.
Last night a phony Twitter account in the name of UCLA defensive back, Randall Gorforth, caused quite a stir on the social network when an imposter tweeted USC receiver Robert Woods that the Bruins would beat the Trojans in their upcoming rivalry game. Of course TONS of trash talk ensued between both teams and their fans.
According to ESPN Coach Mora had this to say in response to the fictitious Twitter beef.
“I think it’s a frickin’ joke that somebody would do that,” Mora said. “I think you’re the lowest form of life-form if you were to portray yourself as an 18-year-old young man who is out here trying to do his best. Trying to stir it up, attributing comments to him that aren’t his, I think he ought to go to jail. That’s how I feel. I think you’re a scumbag.”
Harsh words there from Coach Mora. Yes, impersonating a college football player to talk junk is lame, but jail? I could think of few better reasons why we would want to incarcerate someone.
