Montee Ball didn’t know if he’d reach this point after being assaulted before Wisconsin’s first game of the season. A head injury kept him out the first few games and led to a slow start for last year’s Heisman finalist. Montee was able to overcome those obstacles and finish out this season on a high note by becoming the NCAA’s leading touchdown scorer. Montee broke the record half way through the first quarter with his 79th TD of his career, which broke Travis Prentice’s (Miami(OH)) previous record of 76 scores in a career.
