With all the drama surrounding the New Orleans Saints and Bountygate, there were rumors swirling that Sean Payton was the leading candidate to replace Jason Garrett should he be fired at season’s end.
Apparently, somebody else will be replacing Lt. Brody on the Dallas sidelines if he gets fired. According to Jay Glazer, probably the most reliable NFL source in the business, Payton will be staying in New Orleans.

Makes sense, he is the right coach in the right situation. He is revered in New Orleans and despite this years bad season, they are still among the leagues best teams.
