Tim Tebow is sitting in quarterback purgatory right now, not sure about his future, and unsure where he’ll end up. Many pundits wonder where Tebow will end up, and some wonder if he can ever be productive.
You can now add former Giants quarterback and CBS commentator Phil Simms to the list of those who are not sure if has what it takes.
Simms told David Letterman that “it will be hard for Tebow to ever be a starter in the NFL.”
“When you bring in Tim Tebow, you have to know what comes with him. If you have a starting quarterback, like the Jets did in Mark Sanchez, they’re worried about him and they’re paying him a lot of money. When you bring Tim Tebow in, it brings a lot more focus and his fan base, and it creates a controversy no matter what.”
