Former Tenn Coach Breaks Into Arena With Saw; Steals $4K

Troy Willis Breaks Into Arena

Troy Willis, a former strength and conditioning for the Vols basketball team, was arrested and charged with burglary, theft and vandalism after he broke into the school’s arena and used a saw and his own hands to ravage an office.

Willis, who spent eight seasons in Tennessee before being fired after last season, was caught on tape walking through the hallway attempting to hide what looked like a saw under his coat.

The scorned coach caused $750 dollars worth of damage and stole $4,150 from the desk of the university’s event management director.

No details on what made Willis snap, but then again strength coaches aren’t always known as the most sane individuals.
