I wonder who was more embarrassed by this mishap, the older woman, or the police.  Per The Columbus Dispatch, A 65-year-old woman on her way home from a funeral in Columbus was pulled over by Tennessee police because they thought a Buckeye leaf decal on her car was a marijuana sticker.

She of course was not pleased at all about the stop.

“It’s just amazing they would be that dumb,” Bonnie Jonas-Boggioni said.

Jonas-Boggioni and husband Guido Boggioni, 66 were returning to their home in Plano, Texas after attending the funeral of Guido’s mother when the stop occurred.

They were a few miles east of Memphis when they were stopped.

“Knowing I wasn’t speeding, I couldn’t imagine why,” she said.

Two officers approached, one on each side of the car.

“They were very serious,” she said. “They had the body armor and the guns.”

At that point the officers asked the dreaded question?

“What are you doing with a marijuana sticker on your bumper?” he asked her.

She explained it was a Buckeye decal, and the officer thought she was lying.  At that point her husband exited the vehicle to show the officer his sweatshirt with the same decal.

To make matters worse, she said the officer told her to rip the decal off, she refused.
