Ahhh, another case of bizarre baseball injuries–this time the culprit is none other than red bull. I kid you not.
As hot as the Braves are they’d hate to lose Avilan for any amount of time after he went down Tuesday with a strained hamstring and cramp. The exact source of the injury though is a bit perplexing…
Braves beat writer David O’Brien clues us in on the matter on twitter:
#Braves Avilan said he’ll stick with water and Powerade instead of his usual pregame Red Bull, which might have contributed to cramping.
