Former NFL Bob Whitfield Address Being A Deadbeat Dad (VIDEO)

Bob Whitfield

Former Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Sheree Whitfield along with her ex-husband former NFL offensive tackle Bob Whitfield has summoned the expertise help of Iyanla Vanzant, to assist them in working through issues pertaining to co-parenting, and child support, among other things.

During the sit down discussion on “Iyanla: Fix My Life”, Bob was presented with the platform to address how he felt he was portrayed on RHOA and what he believes his ex-wife intentions were behind publically bashing him on television.

“Your whole plot was to point a finger at me, to catapult yourself into some glory,” Bob says to Sheree in the clip. “To take advantage of the stereotypes of the male athlete having kids everywhere, to the bad husband that abandons his family and doesn’t take care of them, to the distraught woman that can’t meet her bills. Basically, you took a reality show television show to become your reality.”

“It’s all about Sheree… so you look good on TV,” he says. “We’re your little accessories. I’m your f—ing handbag, your kids are your f—ing shoes.”

Sheree responded by telling Bob to man up.

“Man up and do what you’re supposed to do,” she says.

Since the taping of the show, which aired Saturday, there has been mixed reviews since the roles have been reversed, as Sheree receives the bulk of the criticism and Bob receiving praises from supporters who didn’t know his side of the story.

As I always say when former couples split but have children, just agree to disagree. The fighting, bickering, and bashing one another only impacts the children later on in life especially when it’s being done on such a public platform. You can’t delete or erase your words when they’re being broadcasted on television. Hopefully someone could help these two fix their lives before they self-destruct while competing to hurt one another.
