Kenny Anderson is now experience the domino effect after making a dangerous decision to drive while under the influence of alcohol.
The former New Jersey Nets and Boston Celtics point guard was arrested in Broward County early Saturday and charged with DUI.
Anderson, who has spent the last two years as the boys’ basketball head coach at David Posnack Jewish Day School, has just been released of his coaching duties steaming from the recent arrest.
“Kenny Anderson will not be returning as head basketball coach next season for the David Posnack Jewish Day School,” said Posnack Athletic Director Danny Herz, according to Gossip Extra.
Alcohol, jail, and a Jewish school is not a likely combination, so the firing of Anderson shouldn’t come as a surprise. The players shouldn’t be hurt by Anderson’s departure since they only went 1-14 the entire 2012-13 season. Hopefully Anderson can land another job soon. The last thing he needs is to be publicly bashed again on Basketball Wives by his ex-wife for not paying up.
