Anytime Michael Jordan is brought up in a comparison with a current player, it should be taken as an extremely high compliment. So when San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich was on the receiving end of a 35 point explosion by Curry, he held nothing back when asked his thoughts on Curry. “It was like playing against Michael Jordan,” said Popovich.
Curry when told about the comments offered an interesting take.
Warriors PG Stephen Curry was told Popovich said watching him was like watching Jordan. Curry laughed: "Was he drunk when he said it?"
