The family of Titus Young is currently deciding whether or not to bail him out of jail after the former Lions receiver pleaded not guilty Tuesday to eight criminal counts that range from burglary to assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest according to USA Today.
Young’s bail was set at $75,000, but was reduced to $25,000 by Superior Court Judge Salvador Sarmiento. Young was still in custody as of 4 p.m. yesterday.
Young of course was arrested three times in a span of a week, ending with an arrest over the weekend for breaking into a man’s home, and then getting into with police.
Titus Young is being represented by L.A. attorney Altus W. Hudson II. Mr. Hudson declined comment on the case, but when asked how Young was holding up, said, “He’s OK. He’s OK.”
Hudson said the family was deciding whether to post bail for the troubled wide receiver.
Young’s father, Richard Young, previously said his son sought help recently at outpatient facilities in Texas and in Newport Beach and Malibu, Calif.
