So it’s like this, Jose Bautista doesn’t particularly like Major League Baseball umpires. He spends an inordinate amount of time arguing with them because according to him, they’re mediocre at the one thing they’re supposed to be doing well.
In the bottom ninth inning with the Toronto Bluejays trailing the Texas Rangers 6-4 and Bautista to bat with two men on, the home plate umpire called a low first-pitch strike that Bautista didn’t like and he voiced his displeasure with the call. The Bluejays slugger would eventually strike out on three pitches and then this happened.
