The last time we saw Crimson Tide and convicted tree poisoner Harvey Updyke, he was being sentenced to three years in prison for his role in poisoning the trees at Toomer’s Corner on Auburn’s campus.

Updyke was released from prison today after serving 76 days for his crime.  He surfaced from prison looking a little thinner, and rocking a mullet haircut.

According to Associated Press sports writer John Zenor, Updyke plans to forge a new direction in his life, without college football.

No Updyke, no “Roll damn Tide.”  What will college football in the SEC be without Harvey Updyke.
