The NBA Draft is tonight, but former Michigan guard and top point guard prospect Trey Burke has already experienced being a number one pick in something just as important.
GQ Magazine picked Burke as the one draft hopeful with the best fashion sense, so Burke was blessed like Dwyane Wade, and Russell Westbrook before him, to grace the cover of the iconic magazine.
Burke was given the opportunity to take part in a lengthy photo shoot for the July issue of GQ in which he models several outfits that you could find Wade or Westbrook wearing.
Burke had no problem wearing the “hipster-chic” clothing.
He also revealed that he has a tailor and a “special barber” in preparation for the draft.
Choosing something to wear on draft night, he said only half-jokingly, “is as important as training.” He doesn’t have a stylist yet, but he’s got a tailor and a “special barber.” “There will be a lot of ‘specials’ that night,” he says. “Hey, we just did GQ! We can’t let the standards fall.”
