Arod is moving on with life despite the gigantic black cloud that is a possible 100 game suspension hanging over his head.
Rodriguez was a guest on WFAN’s Mike Francesa show on Wednesday and spoke in detail about his rehab progression. Although he’s only batting .179 with one home run and 7 strike outs in 10 games, he said he’s ready to return to his team.
The 37-year-old feels encouraged after playing 4 straight games, which included a homer on Monday. The plan now is for Arod to join the Triple A team in Scranton which will finish his 20 game rehab stint.
Of course, when the question of the Biogenesis scandal came up Arod remained mum but did say he did not discuss the possibility of a plea agreement.
Willful blindness or making the best of what life gives you? Welcome to the Yankees 2013 season.
