Derek Jeter is on the road to his season debut as he will begin his rehab stint at Triple A Scranton Wilke-Barre on Saturday. The news comes courtesy of Mark Feinsand
Derek Jeter has been cleared by the Yankees to begin a rehab assignment. He is scheduled to join Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre tomorrow.

Jeter will also play at least 5 innings at shortstop, and was cleared to start rehab after experiencing no setbacks through full workouts at a training camp in Tampa.
Timing couldn’t be better for the Yankees, who are in desperate need of some new blood as the whole team has been ravaged by injuries.
Let’s hope the Captain is back to playing soon, the game in general isn’t the same without him.
