Jaguars Blaine Gabbert Leaves Practice on a Cart

Jaguars Quarterback Blaine Gabbert left practice on a cart after spraining his right ankle. Mark Long of the Associated Press broke the news via Twitter.

The injury doesn’t appear to be anything major, but in a time where Blaine Gabbert is competing against Chad Henne for the starting job, any type of setback can’t be a good sign.

In two seasons with the Jags, Gabbert has started 24 games, passing for 3,876 yards, 21 touchdowns and 17 interceptions.
