Jason Kidd made his NBA head coaching debut for the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday afternoon during a summer league game against the Pistons.
The Nets lost 76-67, and Kidd got his first ever technical foul, but not for arguing a call or anything like that. Kidd got the technical for wandering too far outside of the coaching box.
Heat columnist Ethan Skolnick said that Kidd chalked it up to a summer school mistake that won’t happen again.
Jason Kidd got a tech in game for straying too far out of the coaching box: "I won't do that again… This is summer school for me."
