Tim Hudson’s officially gone for the season.
The Braves pitcher underwent surgery to repair his fractured fibula and deltoid ligament in his right ankle last week. On Friday it was announced via the Braves twitter page that he wouldn’t even be able to return to baseball activities for 4 months
The procedure was performed by Dr. Marvin Royster in Atlanta, Ga. Hudson is expected to begin baseball activities in approximately 4 months.

Crushing blow for both the Braves and Hudson. Hudson finished his 2013 season with a 3.97 ERA and an 8-7 record.
