BYU football had some its greatest success when they were wearing royal blue uniforms under former head coach Lavelle Edwards.
Over the years, the Cougars steered more towards a navy blue uniform.
Nike Blog is reporting that Brigham Young will return to glory on September 21, in the Holy War game against the Utah Utes.
BYU will in fact pull out the retro royal blue Nike jersey’s for that game.
