The former Ohio State star only appeared in 45 games during his rookie campaign. Sullinger showed flashes of potential in limited minutes. He averaged 6.0 points a game and snatched 5.9 rebounds.
Sullinger’s season came to a halt when he underwent back surgery. His health issues is what caused him to slip in the draft.
Now after tons of rehab and dedication, Sullinger has been cleared for basketball activity and is expected to be ready for training camp, according to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe.
