Another allegation of a high school teacher engaging in sexual relations with a student has surfaced. Bossip.com is reporting that former Alabama DB Eddie Williams has admitted to having an affair with his high school athletic director Karissa Wesley. Williams said he ended it when Wesley started talking about having a baby with him. Wesley, who is now 35, vehemently denies the allegedly affair, but another student, Andre Allen, is corroborating Williams’ story.
Williams, who was dismissed from the Alabama football team earlier this year after his allegedly involvement in a robbery, says that his intimate relationship with Wesley began his senior year at Arnold High School in Bay County, Florida. Even though Wesley continues to maintain her innocence, another former teacher at the school, Peggy Dawson, sent an email to the Sheriff’s office to confirm that affair. In addition, another former coach at the school went to the Bay County School Board about the affair.
Right now it appears to be mostly he said/he said, but the tricky part is that apparently Wesley is in a relationship with Arnold High School’s football and basketball coach, Bobby Britton. The travesty of all this is that if it is true that Williams and Wesley were involved in a sexual relationship, then it would mean another case of trusted adult educator taking advantage of a student. This growing trend has got to stop.
