Ron Jaworski was a pretty decent NFL quarterback, and he likes to deem himself an elite evaluator of talent at the position.
Jaworski has raised eyebrows before with his comments about quarterbacks, and really has the axle spinning with remarks he made about 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Jaworski while talking to the Associated Press, said that “Kaepernick cold be one of the greatest to ever play the position.”
“I truly believe Colin Kaepernick could be one of the greatest quarterbacks ever,” Jaworski said Wednesday on ESPN. “I love his skill set. I think the sky’s the limit.”
Kaepernick was asked how he handles such lofty projections.
“I’m working,” he responded. “To me, it’s a great honor he said that. I’m very flattered by it. But at the same time, I haven’t played a full season yet.”
