This PPV was originally supposed to happen on November 9th, but I gather because the Mayweather vs. Canelo fight is coming up soon and the negotiations between Broner and Maidana haven’t been completed, they just wanted to give themselves more time.
The other theory is Broner needs more time to get back into boxing shape after being on a rap tour.
Either way late December is a tough sell for a PPV, so we will just see how it goes if it gets done.
